hahaha look at little nick doing a sick looking bottom turn

Haven't seen a forecast on this site in days nor a report. So here goes. The wind Chop we had lately is fading as of today but some spots are hanging on to the above avarage winds so look for a possible wave to ride in the Am Friday. Otherwise, Hope you got your share in the last week or so. The next few days will not offer us much other then light to moderate winds with surf below waist high at best (or worst). The outlook past the weekend is very iffy so I would think of other hobbies to kills time.
Not much happening on the wavefront, hence no forecasting of late. There has been some small SE windchop the past few days with fun conditions at the right tide (got a call from an early bird 2 days ago) but couldn't get to the post on time. That is sure to dwindle as the winds go S and lighten over the next day or so. Long range models are showing trade winds in the Carribean basin but not enough to kickback anything towards Central Fla. 172-180 hrs out has a blip of hope with increasing east fetch towards Central Fla. Not much but not unusual for this time of year. Small Upcoast trade swells are our main hope until the cane season starts rolling along
Thanks W for your input, it is appreciated. Pompano, north has had fun chop it seems.
Anyway the Surfrider meeting last night was awesome. TJ gave us the reports on Surfrider bills in the Florida legislature and the latest in the Harbour House access battle. The government and big money developers are screwing over the public and we surfers are putting up an unbelievable fight but it is allot of work and not the slam dunk it should have been considering the case. We will NOT give in and we have gone to the TOP and I expect heads to roll-just a matter of time.
Then we had presentations of a the slide show of photos by Lou of the last swell , and the South Beach Surf video by Lyons. Both were freaken rocken! Thanks to the 20 plus that represented.
peace and progress!
swell maps looking like summer time long range shows a little somthing east of the islands but dont get ur hopes up yet if u can i would plan to go somewere in the next few months bc it is going to get real flat around here i hate this time of year we do get some waves in may but june july and august r the worst
LITTLE NICK...DALEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
THE DOLPHINS ARE THE F#@KING DEVIL!!!AAAAAAAHHHHHHHRRRRGGGG
LOU, WHAT THE HELL?!!?!
I'm in shock and don't know how to deal with it. I'd take off on a 15 foot Chopes bomb right now during a lunar cycle dead low tide, with pretty much 0% chance of making the drop just to put myself out of the mysery of being a Dolphin fan.
Surf today ... 0.0!
Nothing good on horizon. Go support Surfrider !
Josue,
Brother, I have NO idea what the Dolphins are thinking: 1) Ginn is a nice pick, but not until later in the first round and 2) I'd rather have a potential bust/potential superstar at QB than at WR/KR.
But... I'll give Cameron/Mueller the benefit of the doubt. I was rooting for Cameron as our coach during our search. Even at this very moment, as I'm typing this, Mike Lupica is on ESPN, saying how Brady Quinn lost the only really big game in which he played.
All I do know for sure is that these guys know more than I do.
Still, on a visceral level, it feels like we made a mistake.
I hope I'm wrong.
i little hope in the long run ene wind i will take what i can get
I'm glad they didn't take Quinn, but Ginn, really doesnt cameron know how much people in Miami hate Ohio State?
tc u get the goods on that monster south
blip on the radar! Stay tuned can mean somethin' fun.
I no longer see that blip on the radar, Mr. W. I hope I'm wrong though.
I see a large Green Blob, 156 hours from now...
shayne, i did surf a lot that week, but i try to keep to myself about the surf out here. i still remember the despair of not getting waves in miami.
Got call from Capt. Ron out at the 135 Mile mark somewhere 37N 66W up near NYC. He said The seas are getting rough but most of the energy is going the wrong way although some of it is sneaking south. He said be on alert later this week.
