MARS:
Marine Animal Rescue Society

Rescues stranded marine mammals like dolphins and manatees. You need to
attend
a training workshop which are held regularly to be qualified to attend a
rescue.

Protects our local beaches and coastal waters through beach cleanups, dune
restoration, supporting beach access and preservation legislation, and of

Palm Beach County Environmental Coalition

Has been fighting hard to stop development into the Everglades in Palm Beach
county and to stop the construction of more fossil fuel power plants here in
South Florida.

Sierra Club Miami

The Sierra Club is the nations original environmental group, established
over 100 years ago. But they havent slowed down one bit. They work on almost
every environmental issue imaginable, like restoring water flow to the Everglades
to nuclear waste storage issues form our local nuke plants. They also sponsor
outings so you can get out and enjoy all the Florida's natural areas have to
offer.
