Be Part of a Historic Moment in the Restoration of America's Everglades!

Dear Patricia,

You might have heard about the great news making waves across the country. Florida Governor Charlie Crist just announced the purchase of 187,000 acres of land critical to the Everglades ecosystem, a move that will jumpstart Everglades Restoration!

The final decision to ratify the purchase happens Monday, June 30th at 10 a.m., and we're looking for all wildlife champions in the West Palm Beach area to turn out in support of making the sale final.

If you or anyone you know can make the meeting, let us know!

Come early for a strong showing as the South Florida Water Management District's Board members arrive. We need to pack the meeting room to make sure they--and the media--get the message that Floridians support this purchase.

If you can make a sign and bring it, some possible messages to use: "Restoration of the Everglades Now," "Put the Heart Back in the Everglades," "Save Our Glades Today." (We might have some available there too.)

Please forward this to anyone you know in the West Palm Beach area that might be able to attend!
