NEW - Surf your whole life drug-free and never go under the knife!
SURF YOUR WHOLE LIFE DRUG-FREE AND NEVER GO UNDER THE KNIFE!!
Many professional surfers such as: Kelly Slater, Taylor Knox, Rob Machado (these guys are all close to or in their 40’s) and countless others utilize Chiropractors to help them overcome injuries and improve their performance. There is a Chiropractor the WCT tour.
Every surfer (including me) wants to surf as much as humanly possible. However, sometimes injures can curtail your water time or hinder your performance. Paddling out in big surf and even 5 ft. South Beach can put a major hurting on you. All of you know that. You can develop an immediate problem or problems that will manifest themselves in the future.
Chiropractic works by removing nerve interference. Nerve interference is when the nerve impulse or “life force” that is sent from the brain down the spinal cord and travels along the nerves to the end organ is not reaching the end organ at 100%. A good analogy would be if you had a garden, and some of the vegetables were getting sufficient hydration and some weren’t. The hydrated crops would flourish and the others would not. They might grow, but would not be as big and juicy as they could have been.
Many surfers are not surfing up to their potential because they have nerve interference. Which by the way is mostly painless. Only 7-8% of the nerves in your body only feel pain. Do the math… That means that over 90% of the nerves in your body are for function and maintaining homeostasis. That means you can have a problem for years with no symptoms at all!! If your symptom are due to trauma (and you all know South can deliver some trauma) or just years of normal surfing you have to get your spine and frame checked for nerve interference. You need an x-ray!! Some common musculoskeletal symptoms are: back pain, neck pain, shoulder pain, wrist pain, elbow pain, knee pain, foot pain, numbness, tingling, muscle weakness, and headaches.
If you want to spend more time in the water and improve your skills then consider Chiropractic. It is a win/win situation for every surfer. Check us out online. Even if you’ve been to a Chiropractor before, I guarantee what we do in our practice is 180° different.
In Health and Peace Always,
