Surf Forecast 1-3-2013
Forecast from bradswells
Posted January 3rd, 2013 06:42 PMHappy New Year!
Looks like we have a mild cold front coming through tonight. The forecast calls for the front to be nearly stationary until being pushed out by a stronger front early next week.
There's not too much behind this front, but it's possible that some spots will see a sniff of North swell down in south florida and miami. I'd look for that sometime tomorrow. Looks minimal through the weekend.
Next chance will come midweek with a swell starting to fill in from the NE then clocking more eastely as the week progresses. Probably head high or so in the Palm Beaches during the early part of the swell late monday and Tuesday. You'll have to go further north to get the size later. Upcoast around Sebastian/Melbourne should be solid head high+ wednesday or thursday, but winds are looking to be a problem as of now.

For anyone disinterested in this weeks local "Bread and Butter" chopfest and have a little time on their hands, the Carribean side of of Central America - and in particular - Costa Rica and Panama is going off this week! Grab your favorite pintail and cojones. Time to charge well overhead (even double oh+) reefbreaks!
Wed thru fri looks like local windy chop. Happy new year.
Wind chop looks to be building a bit... shortboadable, especially with the lower tides. SoBeeeeeeeee
